I love how this collection gives you both snowflakes themselves as well as projects based on snow or snowflakes. I also love all the suggestions about how to use snowflakes other than on a tree or hanging in front of a window. Im listening to our local weather forecast as Im typing this, and here it is almost December and nary a flake in site. Crocheted snowflakes might be about the only ones I see this year.

These are so lovely. You can use them in so many what's. As embellishments on clothes, afghans or as I do on my crochet purses. You can use them on the tree as ornaments or put them with a bow on presents. I add seed beads to mine. And thank you for following the " every snow flake has six points" rule.

I love crocheting snowflakes! I've done a lot of 3-D snowflakes and those can be time consuming but very rewarding!

They aren't too bad, it is just the size of the thread that can be difficult. But I like them because they remind me of real snow flakes as each one has its own design and personality.

I enjoy making snowflakes. Unlike many people I do like to crochet with thread although, if possible, I avoid #10 size. Sometimes though #10 works best for certain designs. I like bamboo thread although it's hard to work with #10 also, but not impossible. I also like Lizbeth thread because it's easy to work with. I always have several WIPs, but they'e usually small projects.

they are tricky until you figure out how all the stitches fit together... first ones usually take forever until you get the hang of it, after that it's just concentration but so worth it because they are so pretty.
