Wow. I can make this sweet and simple star for our Christmas tree. But the question is if I have the time to do that. If I find time, I can make stars in different colors which make me excited.

I really like the look of this star ornament. I think it would be a special thing to make and send out in Christmas cards, especially to family members. They have such a simple and special look. I think they would be lovely done with crochet thread too. You can add pearl beads by thread them onto the fiber and crocheting them into the star shape for an elegant touch.

I agree with you poster princess6860504. Just from the title and the picture provided, I was under the impression these would be "tiny" stars. It is a pleasant surprise to discover that they are not.

Two simple and easy to follow rounds. It takes more time to block them than it does to crochet them. You will have to block them. These are large stars, but you could use a size H hook with worsted weight yarn to make them a little smaller. Best if at least some amount of natural wool fiber is used for the yarn. Find some stainless pins to prevent rust while blocking.

Sometimes the simplest things are the most treasured. A nice gesture during the holiday season would be to make one for every member of the home and proudly display them on the tree as we are all stars in someone's eyes.

I am very surprised to see the SIZE of these stars are quite large! The close-ups on the tree make them look like they are about 1.5 inches or less. This is a pleasant discovery! So classic, country chic, shabby chic, traditional holiday decor that is not just specific to Christmas, but suitable for the entire holiday season no matter what religion you practice! Super sweet stars -) only takes two rounds and you are done.

Oh these are awesome. I love the natural colored yarn used in these stars which allows them to be used in so many different ways and not just limited to Christmas or Holiday season depending on how and what you celebrate. These could also be used with any patriotic display or project requiring stars.

Crocheting these little stars takes under 5 minutes each. They have rounded points, so blocking is needed if you want them to be pointy. I didnt have any bulky yarn handy when I tried the pattern, so I used worsted with a 5 mm hook. My star was 3 inches across from point tip to point tip before blocking.
