How neat that we have a cowl and a hood in one piece of "equipment"! Such a simple pattern, too, that I think adds to the beauty of the piece. Sometimes simplicity is the most beautiful. I am addicted to cowls and scarves. I have no less than 2 dozen. All made by me. Do I need another? YES. Yes I do. I can whip this up in no time.

The instructions say that this Chilly Nights Hooded Cowl is made with 2 worsted yarns held together. I'm excited to do this and choose a color combo that I like. I have so many exciting ideas, the possibilities are endless. I really love to wear scarves and cowls. I also want to make them as gift to my friends and family. I'm sure they will love to wear those scarves.

This is so cute! I really really like this idea for winter especially. Something handmade AND multi-purpose? This is ideal.

While this is the only cowl I've crocheted, so far it is the easiest and quickest! The instructions are simple and my cowl came out great! I have long and thick dreads and so I usually wear them in a loose bun but this accessory fits me perfectly as a hood!
