I like to experiment with my own color choices when I am looking at patterns here. Not that the pink is bad, it is very pretty! But how about considering a pretty mint or a neutral taupe? How about picking your main color and then doing the final row of the edging in a darker contrasting color for effect? This works up using only single crochets with chains and skips!

Very dainty cowl, this Rose Lace Crochet Cowl Pattern. Perfect for a chilly spring day. You can make this in a color you fancy that would match any of your favorite top.

Pretty cowl and I love this pattern. This bloggers site is absolutely wonderful. It is full of tips and patterns for a lot of different crafts like crochet, knitting, and jewelry making. I am going to stay on it for a while and see what other free patterns I can find to use.

This cowl has such a dainty, feminine look about it. The closely worked texture offers plenty of warmth, but its that lacy edge that really caught my eye. Its hard to believe it only took a little over one skein of yarn! Im thinking that some of those one pound baby yarns would work well, too, since theyre already designed to be soft.

This cowl is a touch of class. The edging for this cowl is very unique and beautiful. It gives the cowl a feminine vintage look while being a modern piece at the same time. What girl wouldnt love adding a touch of vintage class to their wardrobe? I definitely would love to have one.

Wow, How cute is this Rose Lace Crochet Cowl. I love the look of the cowl and the pattern is well written and so easy to make. The color is perfect for the name.. I love the edging pattern that looks hard to do but the instructions make it easy to whip up. I want a few of these in different colors. Thank-you so much for this beautiful free pattern.
