This is a simple but functional baby blanket. Just right for a new born baby as this is not so hard to make with a very simple design. What I mean is this is very easy to replace when the baby grows older where you may use more sophisticated baby stuff.

I really wanted to try this since it uses both Tunisian and standard Crochet. I did fine until I had to join the little TKK squares on the fly. I am just awful at that particular technique but its the only way to go with this pattern. I was more than happy to see the Tunisian come back again. Id never made a mitered corner, either, so that was an experience. I doubt Ill make the entire blanket, but I am very glad I at least completed one square.
