Falling Petals Afghan

"Do you love texture in your crochet blankets? Then you will absolutely love this afghan with a 3d stitch. I named it Falling Petals afghan since the stitch looks like petals are falling in a line. The stitch is a variation of the shell stitch and is easy to work up. I used 3 colors for this afghan but I think it will be gorgeous in a single color with some tassels attached to the end as well. Try it and make it your own."

This is a true afghan size. It is suitable for both women AND men, because the stitch pattern is more neutral if that makes any sense. It is not overly delicate or feminine. Simplistic and to the point. Many color options are available to you because all you need is a worsted weight yarn- any will do. But she used the One Pound of Love. That is a nice acrylic. They have a merlot color that is to die for!
