That's right! That's where all these fun baby crochet patterns come into play. 5 Baby Crochet Patterns: Animal Cocoons
Free crochet baby patterns can be worked up in a short period of time whether they're for your little one or a friend's. The summer months are the most popular time for a baby to make his arrival into the world. Because of this, the weather is warm so you might not need to make free baby afghan patterns, but a cocoon will do.
Owl Baby Cocoon- This cocoon is by far one of my favorite baby crochet patterns of all time. How can you resist a sweet little owl face like this? This would make an adorable baby cocoon photography prop!
Giraffe Baby Cocoon- Here's where your colors and patterns can become really creative. Using different colors can produce different projects. Try using red and black to make a ladybug cocoon with this free crochet baby pattern.
Mermaid Cocoon- Now I know a mermaid isn't quite an animal, but I couldn't resist sharing this design with you. Not only will she feel cozy wrapped up in her cocoon, but you can get so many cute photos.
Newborn Caterpillar Cocoon- One of my favorite books as a kid was about a certain hungry caterpillar. Wrap your little one in this adorable baby cocoon while you read the book at the same time.
Crochet Frog Cocoon- This adorable froggy pattern even comes with matching hat and bootie patterns for your baby. This works up as a complete little baby outfit!
Now I know you love all these baby crochet patterns so be sure you check out our latest eBook: 11 Crochet Baby Cocoon Patterns.

My youngest daughter asked for the Hungry Caterpillar for her last baby, and I was more than happy to oblige,
