This Bold Beautiful Twisted Cowl is so nice looking and I do like the pattern. After reading the written pattern I do think I would have a problem making this one. Even though I have been a life long crocheter. This pattern has you twisting your starting chain, and crocheting around. I know me and will will try to keep the chain untwisted. LOL I hope I can get out of my box and do this, because I do like the look of this cowl. I also like the idea of doing a starting chain in blue to accent this cowl. So different and gives just some pop.. There are a lot of adds to get through on the pattern page as well, so I would consider buying the add free pattern. Thank you for sharing this free crochet cowl pattern.

This easy to work cowl is great for a Beginners summer accessory. Do be advised that the instructional video embedded before the written pattern is NOT for the project. It had me a little confused for a while because there was no way this cowl had the Seed Stitch in it anywhere. And that touch of navy is ingenious! I never would have thought to add that color.
