Easy Light and Lacey Cowl
Easy Light and Lacey Cowl

"As it's name says this cowl is very light and lacey. Using only 1/2 skein (approx.) 2 oz of Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable. I used the "Candied" colorway. With an easy to memorize stitch pattern, this pattern works up quickly. Made in rows and then seamed you can add a mobius twist or leave it flat and used it as a neck warmer. Warm, soft and light weight it is the perfect cowl for those chilly early Spring mornings when you don't need a heavy, bulky scarf."

Just tried to click on the pattern link and got the Error 404 message.

One of the best things about this delightful project is how little yarn it uses. I dont know about anyone else, but I have a lot of half skeins in my yarn stash. This cowl is a great way to pare some of that down. There arent any photos, but the stitch pattern isnt hard to follow. The original project is worked lengthwise, but it was easy enough to figure out how to work across the width instead.

Light and Lacey is always so good for cooler spring or autumn weather and with autumn coming up here in South Africa I want to get this cowl made as quickly as possible. My friend, Heather, has an outdoor job so I am going to make her one or two as well because keeping warm is so often a challenge for her. She has lots of winter warm thing but the in between months can sometimes be a little chilly.

I love the pastel colors in this cowl! It's the perfect spring scarf that everyone needs in their closet. Plus, it doesn't look too heavy.

The blend of colors on this scarf is so beautiful. It's the perfect piece to layer over a t-shirt as you transition from summer to fall!
