32 Crochet Ear Warmers Patterns

Crochet ear warmers are such a useful winter accessory to have in your outerwear rotation, and with this collection of our favorite 32 Crochet Ear Warmers Patterns, you'll always have something new to wear!

Ear warmers are handy to have when it's cold out since they're easy to wear with any hairstyle and slip on and off without messing up your hair, a common annoyance of winter accessories. Just like crochet hats for the cold, crochet ear warmer patterns come in varying difficulties and styles.

They're oftentimes easier to work up than a hat since you start working in the round immediately, don't have to begin with a magic ring, and there aren't any decreases or shaping in your work. They stay nice and snug around your ears and protect you against any harsh winter winds.

Make any of these crochet ear warmers for yourself or to give as a gift this holiday season. There are patterns for kids all the way through adults, so no matter who's on your list and what their style is, you can make them a brand new winter crochet accessory they'll love. Plus, after the easy but unique first section, you will get to explore the best ear warmers with buttons.

During our recent bitter cold snap, one of our young local news anchors was bemoaning the fact that he needed some headgear but didnt want to mess up his hair. (Who says women are more vain than men?) I instantly thought of ear warmers! This wonderful collection is mostly geared for women, but it has inspired me to think of something for this particular young man, too!

There certainly are some gorgeous ear warmers listed. While I don't need them here in Florida, I have many relatives in the cold climates that can use them. The best things about these are, they are pretty, very easy to make, one size fits all, they are very light to mail and most importantly, they won't get broken in shipping. Thank you for sharing these great patterns.
