Oh how I wish I'd had this pattern several years ago when I was coordinating fundraisers for a community football team. This is so cute! What a great idea. I think they'd also be cute done in white and red for early baseball season when it can be chilly outside. I am pinning this pattern for sure!

I live in a town that takes their university football team very seriously. I can see working these up with both the university but also local high school team colors. These would be easy quick sellers at craft bazaars. Wonderful idea for stocking stuffers, too! Now, where's my big skein of brown yarn? I can hardly wait to get started.

I was just looking at the other ear warmers that are all geared towards women and wondering how I could modify one to make it for the men on my list. Then I saw this. I guess you read my mind. It's a short story! I love the pattern, it's very easy and the idea of adding team colors is great. I can even embroider team names on them. What a neat gift. I know they won't have one like it because I am the only crochet person in the family.
