They also stop hair breakage and are super comfy to wear. This quick, easy crochet pattern is great for beginners or those wanting a quick fun make either for themselves or as a gift. Even better, because it doesn’t use up much yarn it’s a fantastic stash busting crochet project to clear space for all that new yarn!"

This a great idea. My daughter constantly loses normal hair ties, but this is bigger and would be harder to lose. This is also a very small and quick project, and it requires a very small amount of yarn. You could use up scrap yarn and make a set in every color. It is also a way to save money as you can buy a bunch hair elastics or rubber bands for really cheap and real scrunchies are pretty expensive.

These hair scrunchies looks better than the ones you can buy at a store. They have got to be easy to make because this is such a small project. Very interesting pattern too. I was wondering what was going to be used for the elastic in this and I see that it is just the plain elastic bands for hair.

I love this Crochet Hair Scrunchie pattern! I have made some using just a single crochet stitch, but this one uses half double stitch. I like that she uses pictures to show what to do and the written pattern is so easy to follow. Who wouldn't love having homemade hair scrunchies? Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
