I am disappointed that the boutique swanky yarn has been discontinued. I am going to try using Lion Brand Sunset Nights and see if I can get the affect i want.

Heres another instance where this will only work if you have some fantastical yarn. The designer is using Red Hearts Boutique Swanky, but you could use another yarn with added special effects like metallic thread or other beading. Its worked almost exclusively using Triple Crochet (US), so its very forgiving when it comes to using novelty yarn. Im going to try is with that Buttercream Thick and Thin I just bought.

One skein crochet projects are perfect for TV watching. The simple treble crochet stitch allows this project to be completed relatively quickly. The random scattered sequins in the yarn shown really makes this infinity scarf eye catching. This is a nice gift idea for someone who loves to wear scarves.

Does Red Heart still offer this particular yarn? Oh my, I am LOVING what this infinity scarf looks like!! I have to have this for myself. I've done scarves using this exact same mesh-like trebles and chains stitch pattern and it truly flies by so quickly! Look at that sparkle!

I just love the teal color used in this One Skein Glitzy Scarf. Teal is one color not in the color wheel that is so unique, it is so elegant when used in scarves, tops, and jeans. Adding the shining shimmering beads makes this scarf more exciting and stands out among the other scarves.

Hi setlikeflint, I just tried accessing this pattern and didn't get any sort of unsafe notifications, so it seems perfectly safe to me. Please be sure your browser is up to date, as well as your virus software. Thank you, I hope that helps! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

I love how classy and fancy this scarf looks. It also looks difficult to make with all the glitz and glamour but I love that this is an easy pattern and I can't wait to add this list of projects to complete.
