"Welcome to the 12th Scarf in our Scarf of the Month Club CAL! We hope you have enjoyed making Scarves and Cowls with us again this year and that by making a scarf each month you were able to get ahead on your Gifts :) so you can enjoy a lovely holiday with your family and friends. The Short and Sweet Cowl is quick to crochet - 1 evening (maybe 2 hours) and less than 1 ball of super bulky weight yarn. Whip up a couple of these watching Netflix and have warm winter gifts to give :)"
Crochet HookM/13 or 9 mm hook
Yarn Weight(6) Super Bulky/Super Chunky (4-11 stitches for 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge8 stitches and 3 rows = 4 inches
in row sets = 1 row of 3-dc clusters and 1 row of sc

I was finally able to take a look at the Tea Cake yarn recommended for this cowl, and I can easily see why its rapidly becoming such a popular yarn for bulky projects! Even though its rated as an Easy project, it looks more complex than it actually is. This designer goes out of her way to provide the crafter with resources and extra tips to make this project successful for just about anyone.

Wow! If you have been looking for a super chunky crochet cowl this year, you may have found it with the "Short and Sweet" cowl. I might come up with a name like "Bigger is Better" supersize cowl! The idea is simple, with just a three double crochet cluster being used to create the effect we see.
