Diamond in the Rough Headband

"I love this diamond stitch. I love it’s texture. So I have used it in this quick to make Crochet headband/ear warmer. It is worked in two pieces that are crocheted together. The result is a double thick Crochet headband that gives you a little extra warmth during the fall and winter months. It is crocheted with one of my favourite yarns, Vanna’s Choice by Lion Brand Yarns. A free video tutorial is also available!"

This headband is quality enough to be crocheted in several colors. I think it is more appropriate for fall and winter because of the yarn suggested here. I would guess if you used a fingerling it would be more appropriate for summer and spring.

This diamond in the rough headband really has a lot of texture. I am glad that there is a video tutorial. The directions indicated I would be working in the front and the back and that was a little confusing.

I literally wear headbands every day, so I like to have a wardrobe of styles, textures and colors the way other women might collect shoes! Ive rarely seen a more apt title for a blog eitherRich Textures Crochet. This project does require some advanced stitches, but the designer includes an instructional video for this project. And if you cant get enough of this project, theres a scarf to match.
