Girly Ice Pop Holders

"Summer is almost here and that means it's going to be hot and that calls for lots and lots of popsicles! Popsicles call for ice pop holders (cozies)...and would they really be complete without appliques all the girls will love? Keep the little ones cool during the summer, without freezing tiny fingers! Great for pool parties or summer birthday party favors. These are a huge hit with the kids! The great thing about these is that you can customize them in so many ways, or you can let the kids decorate them!"

What a cute project. Now the kids can have a cozy like we have for our coffee cups and mugs. I would have made these for my kids in a heart beat.

I know a few people that would consider this a waste but I am not one of them. I love freezer ice pops and I would totally use this for myself. Now the trick is, where will these end up when the wrapper is empty?

These are just so cute! Ive already worked up some of the cases and just need to decorate them. Wonderful scrapbusters, too! The only thing Id change is to start with a Foundation Single Crochet instead of the Chain then SC. It literally took me less than 10 minutes to work up the first one, and even less time for the subsequent ones.

heck I could even whip up a few dozen of these for myself here at home. My husband and teenage son eat those ice pops all the time in the summer months. I hate them because they are too dang cold for my teeth AND my fingers. But if I made these, at the very least my hands would stay protected. CUTE IDEA!!!

Great idea! I've got a small ball of leftover camo yarn, so I'm going to work up a batch of these for my Army vet son and his buddies. They'll get a kick out of them for sure.
