Summer Picot Head Kerchief

"This Summer Picot Head Kerchief is very easy and fast to make. It uses less than one skein of yarn and has a full and detailed tutorial on the picot edge. The picot edge is used often for blankets or even hats, but I thought it was a nice addition to this summer head kerchief which is nice to wear even when it is a bit warmer as it keeps the hair out of your face when it gets very humid. This pattern is ideal for beginners."

I wear headbands all the time, but I would love to mix it up with something like this. The picot border sets this head scarf apart, and although the designer provides well written text describing how to work this part of the project, I personally appreciate the instructional video. Those tissue box covers at the bottom of the page are adorable, too.
