I was just awful at making booties when my own children were babies, but happily, Ive gotten much better now that grandchildren are on the scene. These rain boots are just precious and the nice thing is that they can be worked up for either a boy or a girl. Although these arent at all practical as footwear, they sure are a lot more colorful than my barn mucking boots!

I just finished making these and they turned out ok. I did have a little trouble with the pattern and the decrease. the second boot went better, but does not look like the picture in decreases. I like the boot just not sure about the directions. this is in the correct place intermediate. Thank for the pattern. I may try it again.
