If you used a yarn that had a little bit of metallic sparkle or a pretty white and ivory variegated yarn, you could make these for a wedding party. If it is a beach wedding, then these can be worn in the sand. If it is an indoor wedding, then these can be used for the reception when everyone cuts loose! Fun and inventive idea.

This is a great way to customize a new pair of plain flip flops, or even add new life to an old, tired pair. I have some major foot issues, so I can only wear certain brands. Unfortunately, they have a rather industrial look. This idea is so simple that I can literally create a new look each year with the same basic sandal.
