This snowflake doily is so frilly. This for me would be the perfect center piece of a side table in the entry way of my apartment. I have an accent light to keep the corner lit and this would fit nicely under that light.

This is being shown as a snowflake but if white is not your preference if colors, there are crochet threads for sale in a multitude of different colors. Using white, this will go along in any room of the house but if you want to coordinate, try to find a color that would blend in with your decor.

Being a vintage pattern, the lack of step by step photos didnt surprise me. But after working up this little doily, I found I didnt really miss them. Thankfully the photo of the completed project is large enough to see most of the details. I also chose to work up my first attempt in regular cotton yarn instead of thread. As long as I match the hook to the yarn, Im usually successful with these practice pieces.
