If you use the designers recommended hook size, this project is going to be fairly large. She does include a link to her Moss Stitch Washcloth, so if youre only interested in learning this particular stitch, that might be the place to start. Acrylic is fine for practice, but if youre planning to use this as an actual dishcloth, then by all means use the cotton yarn instead.

Crochet dish cloths are the absolute best thing to have in your kitchen. I love making them for myself, and I love making them to give away as gifts. I try to always have several extras on hand when I need a quick gift for a friend or new acquaintance.

This is such a pretty stitch! I definitely want to try it out, and this dishcloth pattern is a great way to try it out.

This looks like the perfect basic dishcloth that everyone needs in their kitchen. A set of these in your friend or family member's favorite color would be a perfect housewarming gift!
