You'll have so much fun making these little ornament style gift bags. It's a free crochet pattern you can fill with the tiniest of things or hang on your tree as an actual ornament. This pattern uses different yarns and hook sizes.
Crochet HookF/5 or 3.75 mm hook, 8 or 1.5 mm hook (steel)
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

I had to work one of these up because I couldnt figure out how the project was crocheted like a globe, yet was photographed as a flat object. There really isnt any difference except you never stuff them. When filled with candies or little gifts, they are round like one would expect. I like the suggestion to add beads or other embellishments to the bottom. Almost reminds me of a Victorian purse.
