What a great pattern. I love the idea of these watermelon coasters, they would make a great addition to anyones home. The pattern is so easy to follow, I think I will see if I have these colors and get started! If you are looking for a quick gift, this is perfect.

I love these coasters but had to smile at the designers list of materials. That electronic row counter sounds interesting, but with only four rounds, this project hardly warrants the expense. I also cant figure out why she finishes off the pink part after three rounds and joins the green yarn separately. I would just join the yarn in the usual way instead of going through that extra step.

What I like about this pattern is how the picture shows the watermelon in bright pink and bright green instead of your typical red and dark green colors for a watermelon. The next summer bash I have, Im making these cute coasters and putting them on the tables as part of the table setting.

These "Watermelon Crochet Coasters" would make a cute hostess gift. Pair it with a set of tumblers to make a great impression. There are so many cute foodie and drink patterns out there, and there's only so many hours in a day for me to make them. I am putting these 100% cotton coasters near the top of my list of to-do's. The pattern reads easily and the colors are so saturated. Love these!

Watermelon is my favorite fruit, so I definitely need these this summer! They would be perfect for a barbecue guests will be so impressed by the unique touch.
