The handle on this purple passion project purse is really different from any purse that I have seen in crochet. I thought that the buttons were strictly for decoration but they are functional. I really like this purse and it would be the perfect size to carry along my work in progress projects.

This was originally a CAL or crochet a-long. It was completed in three sessions. The tri squares stitch makes an interesting texture. If you need it, there are video and pictorial tutorials on the stitch. The finished project almost looks machine made.

How about the tri-stitch squares that adorn the sides/body of the bag. It gives such a cool look. On another note, I think a Red Heart Ombre yarn would work great for this bag, as well. It was originally offered as a crochet along, but there are individual links for each of the four parts.
