In the first row you are working in the chain row it says dc in next dc. How is that done when you are actually working in your starting chain?

Hi pepsimom62 0432962, sorry for the confusion. There is a typo in the first row of the pattern. The pattern should actually read in the next 2 ch, not dc. I will correct the pattern. I hope this helps! - Laura, editor of AllFreeCrochet

An ombre Super Saver from Red Heart would be awesome for this chevron afghan. Neutrals are great, but for me I want color! I am done with winter, and this warm weather has finally decided to come around. I see this in shades of bright green, indigo, aqua, and a pop of (believe it or not) black mixed in there for drama. For this chevron pattern, we alternate between the back loop only and the front loop only.

I love how the pale blue color pops against the neutral brown colors in this afghan. It seems like this would match with anyone's home decor!
