Made of Super Bulky (6) yarn (or hold two bulky strands together or 4 worsted strands together) and lots of double crochet stitches, it's a quick and fun project with excellent results! This pattern calls for size 9.0mm (M/N) crochet hook or whatever size is needed to achieve gauge."

I think that this mermaid tail blanket is one of the best and realistic I have seen. Not that mermaids are real, but in my imagination they are. The colorway is Solarium and it is indeed perfect! Plus, that Country Loom yarn is really squishy and soft. You cannot go wrong with this if you are wanting to gift something to a family, because they can be made in a child size AND adult. Each family member can enjoy one for themselves.
