Stardust Lightning Bolt

"Who doesn’t love David Bowie in at least one of his incarnations? Inspired by Ziggy Stardust, this Lightning bolt motif would make a great embellishment to a t-shirt, a blanket or a cushion. I designed it to add to my outfit for a David Bowie night. This is a super quick make and could be made in all one colour if you just wanted to make a lightning bolt. It uses a small amount of yarn so is a fun stash buster too. The project takes around 20-30 minutes so is great for anyone needing a quick crochet fix!"

This is such a fast, easy and inexpensive project. I know exactly how I will do it. I need to change the colors to blue and silver. The hockey team in Tampa are the Tampa Bay Lightning. They also call them the Bolts! I can make my self a shirt to wear to the games! Go Bolts!

Okay, a quick translation. Vest equals sweater in the US, so no, the black shirt is not a sleeveless tank although you certainly could use one. Dora has also kindly posted the instructions in US terms, too. Ive looked at the chain, and Im pretty sure its worked as an I cord although I could be wrong. Anyone else want to weigh in on what technique she used?
