Ruby Red Mary Jane Booties

"From the very first day I was introduced to the magical world of the Wizard of Oz, Dorothy's ruby red slippers were a point of fascination. Being only a tiny tot the first time I ever saw the movie, I loved watching her vibrant heels click along the yellow brick road as she went on her way. Prepared to go on your own magical journey? Pick up that nifty hook and a skein of yarn and come along on this fun adventure. It won't be long before your little one will be clicking her heels together in these darling Ruby Red Mary Jane Booties."

These are so sweet! With summer nearly upon us, not too many people are shopping for booties. But Mary Janes are fashionable no matter what time of year. The pattern is so well written and illustrated that its a cinch to work up. Ive timed myself, and I can usually work one shoe up in less than 30 minutes (more time for the bows). Youll have to download the pattern though as thats the only way its available.

These are adorable, thank you for sharing. I will have to make try to make these, they are so cute. Love the little pearl buttons. They accent the slippers so nicely. The little bow embellishments give the slippers a classic girlie look for the little one to look so chic right to start with.
