During special occasions like birthdays and major holidays I will usually find some type of bunting to commemorate the occasion. Being able to make my own will now make the day more special. I had never thought to make a bunting on my own until I found this design. I can start this one to have as a winter theme. This pattern is easily altered to adjust to any occasion. Thanks for sharing.

Buntings are a cool way to decorate your home without a lot of fuss. I know I have a wall in the home that could use attention all year round and I have found that hanging something there seasonal has become expected with the family. I think this is the perfect project for fall and or winter depending on the color of yarn I use.

This is a really easy project to work up as youre basically only dealing with crocheted rectangles. Whats really clever is how the designer attaches the little banners to the cord. Rather than sewing them or stringing them another way, the cord is crocheted directly across the top of the banners. She has a clever way of attaching the tassels, too.

This project is so classy! It can be boho, Americana, and contemporary all at the same time. What makes this design different than other buntings is the fact that this one has a wonderful chunky tassel hanging in between each rectangular panel. Maybe make the tassels in the Fall colorway for more of that autumn feel?
