Easy Crochet Leaves

Crochet leaves have always been one of the most popular motifs. This crochet leaf pattern is very easy. You can make these leaves with or without stem. I’ve made them using crochet thread size 10 and their size is about 1.5“ long with a stem. You are welcome to experiment with different yarn and hook sizes to achieve bigger leaves. Abbreviations: Ch (Chs) – chain (chains) DC- double crochet HDC – half double crochet Rnd - round SC – single crochet Sl St – slip stitch St (Sts) – stitch (stitches)

Yarn Weight(0) Lace (33-40 stitches to 4 inches). Includes crochet thread.

I have just recently come to appreciate the use of the #10 crochet thread. I had always just jumped over it in the past thinking that it was difficult to work with and would take forever to make anything with yarn / thread that small. These leaves are so cute. I love all the bright fall colors. None of my local stores sell these colors so I will have to order them online somewhere.
