This is a wonderful blanket for helping Baby notice texture, but its also a great gift for someone with dementia. As some people go through the process, their minds regress to simple sensory sensations are important to keeping them interacting with the outside world. Eyes and ears may fail, but the skin remains one of the few sensory organs that still functions.
