This is so pretty. For a second, this reminds me of "Rubix" how the stairs were different shades going up the pyramid. For those of us that are not shy about colors, this may be the perfect project for you to complete.

This blanket measures approximately 35 Inches X 42 Inches depending upon your gauge. The special stitch required to make this is the cluster stitch. Other than the cluster stitch, all of the other stitches used are just relatively basic crochet stitches. This is a very pretty pattern and the video does help.

I was trying to remember where I had seen this texture pattern before and then it hit me. It looks very similar to a commercially made thermal blanket and considering the amount of yarn required, I expect this blanket to be cozy indeed. Ive never worked a Diagonal Cluster Stitch, but it just seems to be a repeat of Cluster and Criss Cross Stitches. The embedded video is very easy to follow as you work up a sample swatch.
