Instructions

Roses (make 7)

  1. 1st row: (1 hdc. Ch 2. 1 hdc) all in 3rd ch from hook. (1 hdc. Ch 2. 1 hdc) in each ch to end of ch. Turn.

  2. 2nd row: Sl st in next ch-2 sp. (1 sc. 5 hdc. 1 sc) in next ch-2 sp. [(1 sc. 5 hdc.1 sc) in next ch-2 sp] 3 times. [(1 hdc. 5 dc. 1 hdc) in next ch-2 sp] 4 times. [(1 dc. 5 tr. 1 dc) in next ch-2 sp] 4 times. Fasten off.

Leaves (make 7)

  1. 1st rnd: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. *1 hdc in next ch. 1 dc in each of next 4 ch. 1 hdc in next ch. 1 sc in each of next 2 ch. 1 hdc in next ch. 1 dc in each of next 4 ch. 1 hdc in next ch. 3 sc in next ch. Working into opposite side of foundation ch, rep from * once more, ending with 2 sc in last ch. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Foundation Chain

  1. 1st row: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 hdc in next ch. 2 dc in each of next 2 ch. 1 hdc in next ch. Sl st in next ch. *1 sl st in each of next 23 ch. Ch  6. 1  sc in 2nd ch  from hook. 1 hdc in next ch. 1 dc in each of next 2 ch. 1 hdc in next ch – Vine Leaf made. 1 sl st in next ch from foundation chain. Rep from * to end of ch.

Finishing

  1. Coil Roses into rose shape and sew to Leaves as pictured. Sew Roses to Vine as pictured, centering Roses between Vine Leaves.
