Cozy Blanket Cardi

Cozy Blanket Cardi
Cozy Blanket Cardi

"This cozy cardigan is made with super bulky yarn and it works up fairly quickly! As usual, this blanket sweater works up just like a blanket. You will crochet a basic rectangle following a simple stitch pattern, then fold in the corners and seam to create the arms. It doesn’t get easier or more mindless than this. The pattern is also written in a size that will fit most of you. Get out your big hook and chunky yarn to make this today!"

Crochet HookN/15 or 10 mm hook

I think a lot of people will like this kind of cardigan but personally I'm not too keen on wearing this kind of clothing. But it looks good on other women, especially okay when done in earth or more vibrant colors.

This blanket cardi is actually just an oversized shrug. I made my first shrug on the weekend because our weather turned cool unexpectedly and I needed a little something to throw over the dress that I had planned to wear to an outside dinner. I didnt think I would like it, but once I wore it, I really love it.

Wow I so need to make one or two of these Cozy Blanket Cardi. This pattern is well written and easy to follow and looks so sweet and warm. With winter coming I will have this one on all the time, even in the home. I love the idea of having a reason to go buy yarn.. LOL I can't wait to crochet this one.. Has anyone made this, How did it turn out? Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

It is true. It doesn't get any easier than this. It's a simple stitch, very easy to follow pattern so no excuse not to make it. Besides I can work on it in front of people , even the future owner and they will think I am making just another afghan!

Okay, I NEED this cardigan in my life. I've never crocheted a sweater before, but this one definitely makes me want to try.
