You can see that this is one of those timeless pieces. I say that because on the directions page on the first page of comments alone the first post was dated in 2014. You can rest assured if you take the time to complete this intermediate design you will enjoy the jacket and want to keep it for a long time.

I am fond of patterns posted from Drops Design. This terrifically teal crochet jacket pattern is no exception. What is not to like about this jacket? From the color to the long sleeves with a designed cuff this will be one of your favorites in no time.

I think this is such a pretty sweater. It is going in my pattern list to be made for fall. I love sweaters, in fact, that is why I wanted to learn to crochet and knit. I love the idea of have clothing that no one else has. I can also make them up in whatever color I want. Forget to have to pick out of 2-3 colors at the store . And one of the best feelings is a compliment and asked where you purchased it at

Its been a while for me at least since I have seen a sweater jacket. I know they used to be all the rage way back in the seventies and I did have one then and loved it. Glad to see the old saying is true that whats old is new again. I always loved wearing my sweater jacket and matching belt with a pair of worn out jeans.

Oh, I just got a lovely little shawl pin that would make a great closure for this jacket. I have a pretty burgundy color in mind for this crochet sweater.

I love the color and the shawl collar. This seems like the perfect option for days that are chilly, but not cold enough for a bulky coat.
