"Layers are a wonderful way to express your style in a multitude of ways simultaneously. I love to add textures, colors and prints to my outfits through layers. A simple blouse or tshirt can be dressed up with a loose vest and jewelry in contrasting or monochromatic colors. For example, this easy and beautiful vest could be worn in contrast to the shirt underneath to make the texture of the stitchwork pop. Or, worn over a monochromatic tshirt, its the texture of the yarn that pops. This could be worn over jeans or capris OR a sundress or maxi dress. There really isn't a wrong way to wear a vest! Pretty scallops accentuate this cool fly away vest. It is the perfect length. Wear a shorter outer layer and save the longer length for your tunic top. It gives a nice balance. I think it should be fairly easy to make this into a size or two bigger, as well, if that is what you need. Although, it IS given in a great size to accommodate most women!

Very nice vest with a boho look and style to it. Instructions are very easy to follow and also include a diagram pattern if you prefer to crochet that way instead of following written directions. Her pictures are beautiful and show every angle of the vest. There is even a printer friendly button at the bottom of the pattern.
