The Best Blue Slippers

search

These are really The Best Blue Slippers ever. Not only are they cute, but they hold their shape more than any other slipper pattern. This free crochet pattern has a defined and reinforced heel and toe, so they will last for a long time, as well. Because of this extra attention to detail, this is an intermediate crochet pattern to make.

It seems a little unbelievable that the written pattern instructions are so extensive and detailed. I did not expect these simple ballet slippers to be so much "work". I do not think it is a difficult pattern to work, but it's just the instructions... That being said, a ballet slipper is suitable for any woman, young and old!

Disappointed not to see a photo until I clicked on the instructions. The instructions are detailed, which I like. It also gives instructions how to do them for different sizes. I think you can design them to your actual foot which I like since everyone's foot is different. I like the fact there are photos as well. Thank you for the pattern.

Hi Tricia, Thanks for letting us know about the image - it should be showing now. :) Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

I have been crocheting ....well for too many years to count but I have never made slippers. I am going to try to make this pattern since everyone here has stated how easy this pattern is. Thanks for sharing this pattern.

One of the first projects I made when I picked up my crochet hooks again.Very easy and turn out just like the picture looks. Nice and cozy, too. I had no problem following the pattern after a 15 year hiatus.

If you were looking for an easier slipper pattern, you won't find it! This pattern is super quick and doesn't use a lot of yarn to complete. I always end up making myself a couple of pairs during autumn, so I have a pair to wear while the other gets washed. They keep your toes toasty warm!

This crochet instruction is exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. You now have made it possible for me to know the correct stitches and how to do them as well as giving me confidence that it can be done and in a timely manner. So appreciative. CiCi Schnakenberg

How many times have you made these slippers, Cici? They look adorable and comfy, I am so excited to try this pattern this weekend and your comment was helpful, letting me know that this pattern is worthwhile and well written! Did you find any parts of the pattern that were tricky or confused you?

Very cute pattern, can't wait to try it. I would love this pattern for a little girl size 8toddler, if at all possible. Hard to find slippers for my granddaughter. Thanks for sharing.

These are so cute, can't wait to give them a try. Would love a pattern for little girls size 8 my granddaughter would love these too.

Just copy what you want, and paste in notepad or word and print. Easy peasy

Yes, please, could we have a "printer friendly" version? I don't need excessive comments and excuses.

The pattern requires excessive printing. It could fit on a single page if just the steps were listed, separate from the illustrations and extended comments about magic circle/rings.

Well I think you have a giving soul and I for one appreciate your creations and the time you've spent giving to others. This slipper patter is quite unique and so simple. Thank you.
