Chic Cable Slippers

Chic Cable Slippers
Chic Cable Slippers

"You’ll love the look and feel of these wonderfully textured Chic Cable Slippers! Made with merino wool, the slippers are not only pretty, but also super soft, warm and cozy. If wanted, you can replace the wool with another yarn of your choice that meets the gauge. If you’re a visual crocheter, the step by step picture tutorial will guide you through. The good news is that you can make these slippers to fit any women foot size by working less/ more rounds and rows as explained in the pattern."

I like these. Changing the color to something more masculine would easily make these appropriate for all the guys in the house as well. The directions are well presented and that is always a plus. If I hurry we can all have a new pair to wear on Christmas eve.

The soles of these almost look like actual soles. Using the cable stitch is reminiscent of knitting. These are showing as an intermediate pattern but the designer included a lot of photos so even if you think these are impossible because of the skill level, read over the directions first. These are adjustable to fit any size and would be great to have in more than one color.

These Chic Cable Slippers are so different then any other crocheted slippers I have seen to date. I love them! The directions are so clear and there are pictures showing how they should look at different stages of your work. I was able to down load this pattern and will be making this my go to pattern for slippers.. So Great!! Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet slipper pattern.

This is one of the most thoroughly documented projects I have ever seen. Virtually every necessary stitch is explained, and in many cases, there are links to additional resources. The slipper itself is explained step by step including close up photos of crucial steps like fitting the body to length. The result is an outstanding looking slipper anyone would be delighted to wear. Kudos for finding this one!

Anybody else thinking that these Chic Cable slippers would make mom happy this Mother's Day? I am loving the pretty light teal colored version myself! I appreciate that they are custom fit as far as the pattern and sizing. You literally try it on the foot and see how many rows you need to complete to cover the foot. So chi looking.
