Who wouldn't want to have this scarf available on a really chilly winters day? And because it uses such chunky yarn and a large diameter hook it can be worked up in a matter of hours which means that one could make quite a few in only a weekend. Can't wait to wear mine!

By my approximate calculations, you can work up this super sized scarf in about 50 rows. It will work up in no time flat due to the super bulky weight yarn and the combination of the double crochets and spaces. I am certain this will not be heavy, though. I am familiar with the yarn and it is pretty lofty but light. I have recently made a super scarf in a ripple pattern and I have worn it out a few times. And let me tell you, I feel so warm and cozy in it!

Wow. That is a big and bulky scarf. Looks heavy too. Way too heavy for where I live. Has anyone on here made this yet? Just curious of the finished weight. Looks easy enough to make as it is a six row repeat pattern and changing the yarn size should certainly thin it out a bit.

I'm always cold, so the super scarf trend is a great one in my book! Plus, I absolutely love the texture of this scarf.

Just when you thought you've seen and pinned those really gorgeous scarves in the internet, here's another one that will add to my queue of to-dos. Whoa. I think crochet designers are busy coming up with new designs that's why there's always something new on the web. This Foggy Crochet Super Scarf is so exciting, so chunky, so cozy that you will not feel so cold when you go out on a winter's day wearing this.I imagine this scarf to look so stunning in royal blue or dark teal.

I love how chunky and textured this scarf is too, Zeemer! These super scarves always look great on the models but I'm always afraid it will overwhelm me and look ridiculous! Have you ever made one and if so how was the scale of it?

When I wear scarves or cowls for a long period of time it hurts my neck, so I certainly couldn't wear this out, but I would love to snuggle with it while cozy on the couch during the winter.

I love oversized scarves like this. They look so incredibly cozy, and this neutral color is perfect for everyday wear.
