Piel De Sirena Crochet Wrap
Piel De Sirena Crochet Wrap

"Hello crocheters everywhere and welcome to my blog! I've decided to start this Fall season with something twisty, so I chose to make a pastel colored crochet wrap which combines the Autumn's vibes and the leftover Summer joy... This is the "Piel De Sirena" crochet wrap. When I started this wrap I had no idea that it would turn into something wonderful. As I was working, I could only imagine a mermaid's reflective skin embodied in my stitches and yarn. That's why I decided to name this pattern the " Piel De Sirena" which translate "Mermaid skin"."

Notes- Dimensions may vary from one
yarn to another. But in general,
the size is easily adjustable.

- You can adjust the size of the
wrap by working more or less
typical rows.

- All rows are worked back and
forth.

Very light colors. Perfect to accessorize a dark pink or purple top. Great to use on a summer day.

This crochet wrap is so beautiful! I love the colors together, and the pattern itself is amazing. I am looking for different things to make to spruce up my wardrobe, and I think this has made the list. I am hoping it will be big enough to wear in a few months when I am a little farther along, but we will see.

oh wow this beautiful Piel De Sirena Crochet Wrap is to die for! I love the look of this wrap. The pattern seams to be well done and should work out nicely. I really like the textures in this one and the tassels add a nice touch. I'm not sure what yarn to use? I am thinking sense she uses a baby yarn that any baby yarn would work.. I have saved this one and hope to get to it before spring. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful free crochet wrap pattern.

Can anyone please send me the pattern of the day for the prayer shawl posted 10.29?

Hi Bellakat75, the pattern of the day on 10/29 was a scrubby dishcloth, but you can see our past projects of the day at this link: https://www.allfreecrochet.com/project-of-the-day. If you describe the shawl, I can try to find it for you! - Laura, editor, AllFreeCrochet

You cant really see the texture details in the small photo above, so do yourself a favor and click on the link to the designers original entry. Wow! I can completely see where she got the rather odd name for her project. The pattern isnt hard but it is fiddly and complex. There arent any photos except for the lengthy photo tutorial on creating the tassels.

Superb quality looking shawl that looks like you spent a LOT of money on the yarn or buying it at a boutique. I do not think I can get this particular yarn at any store in my city, so I would have to be on the hunt to buy it online. Do any of you have a comparable suggestion that I can use?

The suggestion above is for #4 worsted. I would think a cake yarn might work especially if you can get a baby weight.
