MATERIALS:

• RED HEART® "Super Saver®":
• 14 Ounces No. 0312 Black CA;
• 7 ounces each: No. 0313 Aran CB, No. 0774 Light Raspberry CC, No. 0905 Magenta CD, No. 0376 Burgundy CE, No. 0322 Pale Yellow CF, No. 0324 Bright Yellow CG, No. 0672 Spring Green CH, No. 0530 Orchid CI, No. 0886 Blue CJ, No. 0724 Baby Pink CK, and No. 0373 Petal Pink CL.
• Crochet Hook: 6.5mm [US K-10.5].
• Yarn needle.

SIZE: Afghan measures approximately 45" x 60"

GAUGE/TENSION: One repeat of 20 sts = 6 3/8"; 7 rows = 4" in pattern. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

STRIPE SEQUENCE: Afghan is worked in 1 row of each color in the following order: CA, CC, CD, CE, CA, CF, CG, CH, CA, CB, CI, CJ, CA, CB, CK, CL. Repeat these 16 rows 5 times more.

AFGHAN:
With CA, ch 141.
Row 1 (Right Side): Hdc in 2nd ch from hook, [hdc in next 8 ch, 3 hdc in next ch, hdc in next 8 ch; yarn over and draw up a lp in next ch, skip next ch, yarn over and draw up a lp in next ch, yarn over and draw through all 5 lps on hook – dec made] 6 times; hdc in next 8 ch, 3 hdc in next ch, hdc in next 8 ch; [yarn over and draw up a lp in next ch] twice, yarn over and draw through all 5 lps on hook – end dec made; turn – 141 sts. Fasten off CA.
Row 2: Attach the next color in Stripe Sequence in first st; ch 1, skip first st, hdc in next st, [hdc in next 8 sts, 3 hdc in next st, hdc in next 8 sts, dec over next 3 sts] 6 times, hdc in next 8 sts, 3 hdc in next st, hdc in next 8 sts, work end dec over last 2 sts; turn. Fasten off color just used.
Rows 3-96: Following Stripe Sequence, repeat Row 2.
Row 97: With CA, repeat Row 2. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
