Wildflower Romance Summer Hat
"Love is in the air, and this beautiful lace summer hat is a crochet pattern fit for all your warm weather adventures. It's made using a wool/nylon blend sock yarn, which is unusual for summer, but it is so light weight and comfortable you'll hardly know you're wearing anything on your head! This crochet hat is meant to embody the loveliness of a garden with the free-spirit of a field of wildflowers. It's filled with delicate floral accents, including a sunny floral motif at the top, and uses a variety of stitch patterns. You won't get bored making this captivating crochet design!"
NotesThis is a summer hat and is short on purpose--ending about mid-ear level. If you wish to lengthen it, I've added suggestions for doing so in the pattern body.

This is a gorgeous hat! I shy away from beanie styles for myself, but I might make an exception for this beauty. Reading through the instructions, it looks like I might possibly be able to extend one of the sections and turn this into more of a slouchie style. That floral lace motif is just lovely, and I love that dainty picot band.

This is a beautiful Wildflower Romance Summer Hat. The pattern is easy enough to understand and follow. There are some nice clear pictures showing how the flower part should be done. I like the airiness of this hat that is just great for the hot summer days. I'm looking forward to trying this one and hope it works out. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet hat pattern.

I used to make caps or beanies similar to these for my best friend, who was a male. This hat reminds me of him. He's passed away now, so I really am drawn to this hat. I could do this. It's a nice change of pace for me instead of the larger shawls and kimono sweaters I have been making for the last several months.
