with so many cute hats for girls...sometimes the guys get left out. The hubby really loves to wear all of my hats and this one was no exception. He loved the shades of blue but thought blacks and grays would look good too. I think you'll love working in the "3rd loop" of the half-double crochet, and no worries if you don't know how because there is a video tutorial included just for you to enjoy and learn!

This is such a cool guys hats. Crochet items for guys are hard to find for some reason. I dont know if its because guys dont like handmade items or if there really isnt much of an interest in making items for guys. But whatever the case, this is a rare find and it is super easy to make and looks great.

I live in a small university town and near a large university town, so beanies are more than plentiful this time of year. I just saw someone wearing a similarly striped beanie and actually made a quick sketch to capture the stripe sequence. Of course, it didnt have the interesting Post Stitch detail like this designers version. Ill run this by my adult son but Im almost positive hell want me to work it up for him.
