The cable stitch has always been a challenge for me. It seems too difficult to hurdle but there's really only one way to find out. Maybe it's not the level of difficulty but more of the fact that I'm not too keen to do the cable stitch. That's all.

When I first saw this pattern I was wondering why a knit pattern was being posted to a crochet site. Then I saw a crochet hook listed under supplies. This is beautiful. I googled cable stitch and now I am ready to take a try at this for my next afghan.

Try This for the Cable throughout the Blanket: Fpdc cable twist: Sk first and 2nd sts, fpdc around 3rd post st, fpdcaround 4th post st, fpdc around first skipped post st, fpdc around 2nd skipped post st. So heres the Cable Pattern Row 1: fpdc around 4 post sts Row 2: bpdc around next 4 post sts, Row 3: fpdc cable twist over next 4 sts Continue Cable as follows throughout rest of Blanket Rep Row 2. Rep Row 1. Rep Row 2. Rep Row 3

The cable instructions aren't in the pattern, I wanted to make this but I shouldn't have to guess how to do the cables

I cannot get the link to open so I can get the pattern and instructions.
