Crochet Hook4.5 mm hook

Yarn Weight(3) Light/DK (21-24 stitches to 4 inches)

Crochet GaugeGauge is not critical but adjust the hook size to produce a firm fabric.

One size: 4 3/4 in (12cm) wide, 5in (12.5cm) deep (excluding finger loop and ribbon)

Materials:

  • Light Worsted (DK) weight yarn: Small quantity of White
  • Metallic Fingering (4ply) weight yarn: Small quantity of White or Silver
    • Note: If you can’t find a metallic yarn, substitute it with an alternative Fingering (4ply) weight yarn in a suitable color.
  • US 7 (4.5mm) crochet hook
  • 36in (90cm) white ribbon
  • Tapestry needle

Notes:

  1. All elements for the Snow Queen outfit are worked holding the two yarns (white and metallic) together throughout. If preferred, you can find a suitable sparkly yarn and use that instead.

Finishing

Stitch a snowflake to the middle of the long edge of the mesh band—attach with the two points opposite the finger loop. Weave in all loose ends.

Block gently according to ball band.

Cut the ribbon in half and use a length for each cuff. Lace the ribbon through the mesh at either short end of the cuff in criss-crosses (just like shoe laces). Tie them in a bow on your Snow Queen’s wrists.
