When it comes time for a new baby, impersonal, store-bought items just can't stand up against DIY baby shower gifts with their handmade charm. The Preciously Pink Easy Baby Blanket and Hat features a coordinating pink-and-gray crochet afghan and baby hat pattern, tied together with matching pink flowers. This would look adorable on a little newborn, and it is especially fit for a princess due to its ruffled ribbon edges and pearl accents. To make this easy crochet baby blanket, you just work up one big granny square pattern to the size you would like, and then add the finishing touches!

Grey is not the typical color for a baby blanket but this is rather pretty. I love the added ribbon and edging to this. Attention to detail is important for any project. It is perfect to gift this with a matching chapeau.

The gracious granny square project wins again. I love the addition of the ribbon to the edge of this baby blanket and hat set. Who knew that just the edging of a granny square project could make it even more special? Well, I did of course. Granny squares are awesome!

Yes, gray, why not? You'd think that gray is too dark and drab for a baby blanket but look at this Preciously Pink Easy Baby Blanket and Hat. The dark pink edging gave it a twist. It added sunshine to the whole blanket with matching rose placed at the corner and the white trimming on the edges. The hat in pink is also a perfect match.

Absolutely beautiful. This set is so feminine and dainty. Start the little diva out the right way and she will appreciate being tre chic as she is growing up. I will definitely put this one of my to make list. Cant wait to get started on it. What a great find!

This set would make such a beautiful baby shower gift. Everything about this is so lovely - the amount of detail makes it extra special!
