Minnesota Layette Hat

search

"The Minnesota Layette Hat is part of a crochet set that includes a blanket, newborn sweater and newborn hat. The hat is a great pattern for a beginner who wants to do more than just double crochet the whole time. Pick two colors and learn how to make a long single crochet stitch along with the double crochet stitch and single crochet stitch. When the hat is done, try the sweater to match. Using the pound of love yarn gives you more than enough yarn to finish off all three pieces."

This is a very cute set. I love when they are offered in sets. I also love the look of a knitted cable stitch done in crochet. I can knit but I prefer to crochet because it's faster for me. The colors can be changed to a more boyish color too. All I need is to add a diaper cover.

I really like the color choices in this hat! So adorable!
