Very, very nicely done. A very clean lined and simple design on this potholder. It can easily be adapted to fit into my holiday kitchen decor by changing the color of the border to a red or green, and making the bird red! I am not used to charts, but this seems easy enough for someone like me.

From the looks of this picture, it looks like the image could be easily converted to a baby carriage. Add some extra blocks and you'd have a great baby blanket.

If using acrylic yarns, these should be for decoration purposes only. If they are to be used, then cotton yarns should be used. Acrylic and fire don't make the best match.

I get what you mean but potholders are generally used to hold a pot handle, not tossed into an open flame. :)
