New hand made baby blankets will always trump what has been purchased from a store. This marshmallow dreams crochet blanket is not your ordinary blanket so it will be very different than any thing else given as a baby shower gift.

At first glance I thought of the Neapolitan ice cream when I saw this thinking the black was brown. Black is not your typical color for a baby blanket but I would consider it modern to say the least. It is an attractive blanket and any new baby girl would be happy to have it. I would probably switch the pink for a shade suitable for a boy and alter the edge.

This Marshmallow Dreams Crochet Baby Blanket is very sweet! So easy to make and it looks great as well. I like the colors in this that go well together. Black and pink, reminds me of a ice cream. The pattern is well written and easy to follow and I like the shell edging to finish this off. Looking forward to this one. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet baby blanket pattern.

Black in a baby blanket, why not? This Marshmallow Dreams Crochet Baby Blanket is so elegant with the combination of black and a very subtle pink color. You'd think at first glance it's white but it's actually very light pink, lighter than baby pink. Great as gift for baby.
