A Touch of Gleam Scarf
"A simple stitch pattern highlights the gleaming metallic threads wrapped around this yarn. The beginner-friendly stitch creates a dense and warm crochet fabric that’s perfect for fighting off the bitter chill of a windy day. Skills Used Basic crochet stitches: chain, single crochet Crocheting flat in rows Skipping stitches, increasing Skill Level Easy Finished Size Adult: 5.5” (14 cm) wide x 66” (160 cm) long. Materials Red Heart Gleam yarn (96% acrylic/4% other fiber, 3.5 oz/100 g, 169 yd/154 m) – 2 skeins in 3520 Patina, or approximately 338 yd (308 m) in any medium weight yarn. US Size I/9-5.5 mm crochet hook, or any size needed to obtain gauge. Yarn needle. Gauge 18 sts x 15 rows = 4” (10 cm) in pattern. Exact gauge is not critical for this pattern."

What a great sweater to wear over a lovely wool jacket during the holidays. The slight metallic thread used in the Red Heart Gleam is ever so subtle and gives it a nice touch. There's nothing fancy here as far as the working of the pattern goes- the choice of yarn does all the talking!
